yes

small history for our family

we have eaten "correctly" since birth

small definition

any thing made of carbon IS organic
any thing not cut is whole

(really detest how commercial grocers abuse the terminology for profit)

small fact

our family doesn't get sick - about once in five years then that is a slight cold

reason

LIFETIME of a wonderful diet -
fresh raw veggies and fruits,
prime meats with no steroids, antibiotics, growth hormones, vaccinations -
called 4/0 beef,chicken -
little pork, rarely fish
very little empty carbs or junk foods - no alcohol - no "toxins" if it possibly can be avoided

just starting good eating habits is great - one year down - 80 to go

the benefits come in after long term - a good diet is only as good as long as you are on it,

the health benefits - quicker healing (broken bone only 3 weeks, for us) - immune system much stronger than others (rarely sick, then it has to be something that takes down the rest of the population for us to be inconvenienced slightly) - less sleep ( when you body has all that it needs it can preform longer with less rest because it has the fuel it needs) the list goes on

with only 1 year of good diet i would guess that you were just lucky and didn't get the true flu that they were talking about

in only 1 year your body hasn't had the time to repair the damage done it by the previous years poor diet - the detoxification process is hard - the children are much more resilient than adults their immune system isn't tired yet

but by year five i think that you will notice improved vigor, better strength, more endurance, nicer hair and nails, better skin, less tired, better immune system, the list is longer
References :
I think you are lucky.
Eating a good mixed diet, good Hygiene and not getting stressed are two things that contribute to good health and resistance to disease.
Preparing your own meals with good ingredients certainly helps but good food doesn't have to be organic. The jury is still out on that one.

I hope you continue to resist all viruses that lurk around.
