I am looking to make a training plan and would like to know of any websites or leaflet/ booklets etc where I can get help.
I am looking for something that will give me advice on foods to eat and how to build myself up and maintain a healthy diet.
Also looking to be able to make exercise program and record what I do and eat. Maybe a site that can give me data, feedback etc too.
In short I am looking for a website to help with food nutrition and training planning.
I have been using the daily plate for a few years now and I love it. I keep track of my workouts and my intake. It’s now part of the LiveStrong website so you’ll find it there. good luck!

I’m going on a trip this summer for 3 weeks out east (I’m from BC) and I’ve recently started doing an hour of cardio everyday, as well it eating healthy. But I’m afraid this trip will mess everything up. Unfortunately, there won’t be much cardio machines, we will be eating out a lot. Can you please give me any suggestions on how to keep my exercise and healthy eating going throughout this trip?
Drink a lot of water. Order relatively healthy foods, like salads. Walk around, visit places to keep yourself busy/active, get involved in activities and the likes of. If you are determined and it is important to you set aside some time to run or do other exercises which do not require machines.
Everyone says flat leaf parsley taste better and some say, because it taste better it probably has more nutritional value. So does it have more nutrition value or not. Taste is good. However I am more interested in the nutritional value.
According to the nutrition almanac there is no difference in calories between the two types.
1 cup chopped, 60 grams = 26 calories.
Does anyone know how to get contact info on buyers (For Sports Nutrition Product) in military bases?
Namely Fort Lewis in Washington state. I am a sports nutrition distributor and would like to offer my product to the boys in arms.
Most post exchanges have a GNC store in their shopping arcade area or have this sort of product on retail display inside the main store. However, most of the merchandise for Army and Air Force Exchanges are centrally purchased. The source below is a link to that exchange system’s web site. I was just curious what everyone else struggles with when trying to diet. Mine is just hunger, I have a hearty appetite and loathe the feeling of being hungry so its hard to say no to tasty, greasy foods that are available when I’m dieting. Whats your obstacle? And have you overcome it or are you still battling?
For me, it’s resisting foods that simply taste colourful in my mouth lol. i.e. chips…. (are a big guilty pleasure for me)
I think I only overcome that when I really choose to though… I usually give in when I feel like I haven’t eaten them for a long while, and that’s when I truly INDULGE (in every sense of the word).
But overall, I think I’ve overcome it. A tip is to just stay away from the foods altogether, and have the willpower to resist walking over and buying/taking the specific food out of the cupboard.
Okay so for my sociology class our task is to be an advocate for change in a social behavior or attitude.
I noticed that children have bad diets because they are always eating junk food and the parents bring home fast food often and/or go out to eat.
The thing i am trying to prove is that we can change these habits by promoting healthy eating at a younger age. HOWWWW???????
PLEASE BE SPECIFIC.
Explain the importance of healthy eating. Gradually make changes. Allow them to have noodles and other such stuff but change the way.
One thing has to be noted. If you want your children to stay healthy, you must only cook food that nourishes your child completely.
Maggie/ noodles are the skipper of all foods when it comes to some of the children. Do not worry. Serve them with hot piping noodles but don’t forget to add finely chopped/grated vegetables that you can think of.
As an alternative, add all fruits finely chopped and sliced that one can think of or as per your child’s liking. These additions not only make the noodles tasty and healthy but more presentable.

Hi, so it’s time for me to really think about what undergrad degree I’m going to work towards. But the university where I’m going cancelled their dietetics degree program (Faculty of Biochemistry) They do still have a nutrition program. So, what I want to know is: Is there any significant difference between a nutrition or dietetics degree? Could I still become a dietition with a nutrition degree?
Almost anyone can call themselves a nutritionist and attempt to provide service without formal training, education and licensing. A dietitian, however, has completed several years of advanced college study to obtain at least a Bachelor’s degree and Dietetic Internship. This training, along with completion of the registration exam, is required for employment in hospitals and other health care facilities. The career opportunities and salary potential are far greater for Registered Dietitians.
Bottom line, you can become a dietitian with a nutrition degree after you get more education. A degree in nutrition alone won’t get you there.
i just started training with this guy and he told me that if i want to increase muscle and decrease fat i need to have more protein especially since i eat vegetarian. he told me that the best one is american sports nutrition whey. he said he just moved here so other than ordering it online he doesnt know what stores sell it. i looked on the gnc website and they didnt have it.
can anyone help me get a list of stores that might sell this?
Well, for a chemical free whey protein minus the additives and fillers try http://www.buybulkwhey.com great all natural protein.
I am currently dieting and it’s working, plus I am in the gym again. I am not fat just gettitng a little loose, I used to play soccer and do step aeorbics in high school, yet I am not happy about my current look. I know dieting foods, I just want to hear more strategies from various people.
Inform me.

The first answer is just from someone most people don’t want to hear from or like. Get a grid smarty!
Maybe it would help you if you didn’t look at things as "diet foods". When you want to eat something (which you should do often, like every 2-3 hours), think to yourself – what benefit am I getting from this? So instead of thinking of things you CAN’T eat b/c you’re trying to firm up, try thinking of what you CAN eat to help you. What you do eat is much more important that what you don’t eat. And the little things do add up. For example – try a small handful of nuts, but remember to get them without salt. No need for that extra sodium. And drink TONS of water. I know it sounds very cliche, but once you get into a habit of really staying hydrated, you realize how much better you feel. Oh, and fresh, raw veggies are great. Just remember, the more natural a food is, and the less processed, the better it is for you. Good luck friend!
